Watches of Switzerland reports strong Christmas period. For it’s third quarter to 26 January, the watch retailer saw ‘further stabilisation’, as well as a 4% year-on-year rise in group revenue to £785m in its first half. This was predominantly driven by strong growth in the US market.
Paul Smith appoints Non-Executive Director. Ewan Venters has joined the British fashion and lifestyle brand as a Non-Executive Director. He was previously CEO of art gallery Hauser & Wirth, as well as CEO of department store, Fortnum & Mason, for eight years.
John Lewis hires Vikki Kavanagh. The former Managing Director of Net-a-Porter has been appointed to the role of Chief Commercial Officer. She will join in April, succeeding Kathleen Mitchell. Vikki previously held senior buying and merchandising roles at Harvey Nichols and Fenwick.
