Adobe Halts Development Of Flash For Smartphones

The technology firm has announced that it is to cease efforts to develop its Flash Player platform for smartphones. Instead, the firm is to focus efforts on the development of HTML5. The firm will, however, continue to provide security updates and fixes for existing configurations.
