Agrana to acquire Slovenian food maker Mercator-Emba to grow foodservice presence 

Austrian food group Agrana has agreed to buy Mercator-Emba, a Slovenian producer of syrups and dessert toppings with €30m FY2024 revenue. The deal, pending regulatory approval, will strengthen Agrana’s foodservice reach in Central and Eastern Europe.
