Amazon plans $200bn AI investment for 2026

The tech giant will increase capital expenditure to $200bn, up from $125bn last year, focusing on AI infrastructure. Shares fell 11% after the announcement. The e-commerce giant is also cutting costs, including announcing 16,000 recent layoffs.
