American Apparel Posts Profit

American Apparel has revealed a fourth quarter net income of US$4.9m, an improvement on the US$2.4m loss for the same period a year ago. Sales rose by 9.8%, up to US$173m. CEO Dov Charney hailed the firm’s “solid growth and continuing momentum”.
