Apple and Samsung to enter China’s mobile payments

Tech companies Apple and Samsung have signed deals with China’s UnionPay to enter the country’s mobile payment arena in early 2016. The industry, worth US$3.5tr in China, is currently dominated by Alibaba’s Alipay and Tencent’s Tenpay.
