Apple Releases Details Of Suppliers For The First Time

The global consumer electronics giant has published a list of its suppliers for the first time. The move aims to head off criticism over the treatment of workers at some of Apple’s suppliers by increasing transparency. Tim Cook, chief executive, said: “We require that our suppliers provide safe working conditions, treat workers with dignity and respect, and use environmentally responsible manufacturing processes wherever Apple products are made.”
