Apple reports 17% revenue growth to $111.18bn in March quarter

The technology giant exceeded quarterly earnings expectations with revenue rising 17% to $111.18bn, driven by record iPhone sales of $56.99bn. CEO Tim Cook announced his departure later this year, with John Ternus set to take over on 1 September.
