Betfred Is Odds On Favourite To Win Tote Bid

In a deal which would end a 14 year bid to privatise the service, it is expected that Betfred will be chosen as the new owner of the Tote. Half of the £200m bid will go to the racing industry and charities with the remainder going to the government.
