The international DVD rental business, which collapsed into bankruptcy last year, has announced Dish Network as its new owner following a successful closing bid of US$321m (£196m). Dish Network is currently the third-largest satellite group in the US. Blockbuster creditors are to receive about US$178.8m of Dish Network's offering.
