Simon Roberts, who was previously retail director for the health and beauty chain, has been promoted alongside commercial director Ken Murphy. Roberts and Murphy will share responsibility for the day-to-day running of Boots in the UK and Ireland, allowing chief executive Alex Gourlay to concentrate on future growth plans.
