Kingfisher, the owner of B&Q and Screwfix, has announced a £150m investment in Russia as it looks to expand further overseas. The British DIY retailer, which now makes two-thirds of its profits overseas, hopes to capitalise on the growing trend for home improvements among Russians. Chief executive Ian Cheshire said: "Russia represents a major opportunity for Kingfisher."
