BSkyB Acquires 10% Stake In Zeebox

The broadcaster has acquired a 10% stake in the app firm just two months after it was launched. Zeebox combines social networking with real-time viewing figures, allowing tablet and smartphone users to interact with others who are watching the same programmes on television. BSkyB plans to integrate Zeebox’s technology into apps for its services.
