Clarke Plans Major Restructure At Premier Foods

The recently appointed chief executive of Premier Foods is to restructure the senior management team. As part of the restructure, current chief operating officer Tim Kelly is to leave the grocery and bakery group. A replacement will not be sought and the role will be axed, to be replaced by managing directors for the group’s grocery and bakery divisions. Iwan Williams is to lead Premier’s £1.1bn bakery business while Graham Hunter, former managing director of Northern Foods’ branded goods, is to head up the grocery division.
