Clinton Cards Puts Birthdays Chain Up For Sale

The card and gift retailer is to sell its 141-store Birthdays chain. The sale forms part of new chief executive Darcy Willson-Rymer’s strategy to turn around the business. Clinton Cards bought Birthdays out of administration in 2009 and has since been shrinking the chain.
