Aldi and Lidl have both achieved record sales this Christmas amid the ongoing cost of living crisis. Lidl's sales saw a 12% year on year increase, whereas its director competitor, Aldi, saw sales in excess of £1.5bn in the four weeks to Christmas Eve.
