Dixons Boss To Join Apple

John Browett, the current chief executive of Dixons, is to leave the electronics retailer to join Apple. Leaving Dixons in April, Browett will take on responsibility for Apple’s retail strategy and the expansion of its chain of stores as vice-president of retail. At Dixons, Sebastian James has been promoted from his current role as operations director to take on Browett’s responsibilities, whilst Katie Bickerstaffe will take on the new role of chief executive of UK & Ireland.
