Drug developer startup EyeBio sold to Merck in $3bn deal

EyeBio, which is developing Restoret, a drug designed to treat the causes of sight loss, has been sold to US pharmaceuticals group Merck for $3bn. Venture capitalist Dame Kate Bingham is Chair at EyeBio.
