Everything Everywhere Told To Use Spectrum Sale Profits To Fund Rural Broadband

Following Ofcom’s ruling on Monday that telcoms companies can trade radio spectrum for the first time, MPs have told Everything Everywhere that money it makes from selling its spectrum should be ploughed into the roll-out of broadband in rural areas. Spectrum was originally gifted to the company by the governement in the 1980s.
