General Mills sells Häagen-Dazs shops in China to Ningji-led group amid shift to local management

General Mills will license the Häagen-Dazs brand to Ningji, which operates over 3,000 tea shops in China. The move follows similar deals by Starbucks and Burger King as global brands adapt to intense local competition and economic headwinds.
