Google Announces US$3.2bn Nest Deal

Web behemoth Google has revealed its US$3.2bn purchase of Nest, which specialises in interconnected devices such as thermostats and smoke alarms. Google’s Larry Page said: “We are excited to bring great experiences to more homes in more countries”.
