Google Books Agreement Blocked By US Court

An agreement between the search engine group and publishers over the firm’s publication of books online has been blocked by a US court over copyright issues and claims that the deal gives Google an unfair advantage. The web giant has already scanned some 15m books and made them available online via its eBooks platform.
