Greggs has posted a 27% jump in sales to £694.5m in the first half of 2022, with like-for-likes sales also rising 12.3% compared to 2019 levels. Pre-tax profits increased to £55.8m from £55.5m in 2021, reflecting rising VAT and higher levels of inflation.
