Halfords lifts revenue and profit on double digit cycling like-for-like growth

Halfords reported higher first half revenue and profit, driven by cycling. Group revenue rose 3.3% to £893.3m, while underlying pre-tax profit increased 1% to £21.2m. Retail like-for-like cycling sales climbed 9%, with autocentres also growing.
