Hermes Loses The Trademark Dispute In China

The French luxury company has lost a lawsuit against China’s Trademark Appeal Board. “Ai Ma Shi”, as Hermes is known in China, has appealed since 1997 to cancel a very similar trademark, owned by a menswear Chinese firm, but the court stated that Hermes didn’t provide evidence that the trademark was illegally acquired.
