Hugo Boss Q1 sales fall as profit plan prioritises back-to-basics strategy

Sales declined 6% to €905m, slightly ahead of expectations. Europe, Middle East and Africa fell 8%, while Asia-Pacific rose 1%. EBIT dropped 42% to €35m. Hugo Boss kept full-year guidance, expecting mid to high single-digit sales declines and lower profit.
