IAG beats second-quarter profit expectations despite higher fuel costs

British Airways owner IAG has reported Q2 operating profit of €1.41bn, ahead of analyst expectations of €1.37bn, despite profit falling 16.3% year on year. The group now expects capacity to be flat this year.
