International sales drive Burberry’s earnings in Q1 despite China slowdown

The luxury brand has seen its international comparable store sales rise 16% in the first quarter, with Europe seeing an increase of 47%. The solid performance in its international markets helped offset a fall in sales in China due to Covid-19 lockdowns.
