Jack Dorsey Unveils New Mobile Payment Plan

The co-founder of Twitter has revealed plans to use smartphones and tablet computers to pay for items and services within retail outlets. Mr Dorsey’s company, Square, said retailers would be able to replace their cash registers and credit card readers with iPads, with the Square smartphone app allowing consumers to pay with one touch from their handset.
