Executive chairman Peter Cowgill has reported a 28% growth in profits for the sports retailer, with pre-tax profits of £78.6m from £61.4m the previous year. Continued expansion was boosted by the acquisition of the Sonneti, Chilli Pepper, and Nanny State brands for £2.1m.
