Johann Jungwirth moves to Volkswagen to take on digital strategy

Car manufacturer Volkswagen has revealed the hire of Johann Jungwirth, formerly of Apple, as the new head of the firm’s ‘Digitalisation Strategy Department’, reporting directly to CEO Matthias Müller. As well as Apple, Johann has worked in retail and development for Mercedes-Benz in the past.
