John Lewis Partnership resumes staff bonus after sales and profit growth in challenging year

John Lewis Partnership, owner of John Lewis and Waitrose, reported 5% sales growth to £13.4bn and a 5% rise in headline profit to £134m. Staff will receive a 2% bonus, despite higher costs and a slow Christmas trading period.
