Judith McKenna, who has been chief financial officer with the retailer since 2001, has been appointed as Asda's chief operating officer. Prior to joining Asda 15 years ago, Ms McKenna held a number of financial positions in the brewing and pub retailing industry, working with Allied Domecq and Carlsberg Tetley.
