Labelux Acquires Belstaff For US$161m

Following last month’s acquisition of Jimmy Choo, the Swiss luxury goods company has added Belstaff to its portfolio. The outerwear specialist, previously part of the Malenotti family-owned Clothing Company, was bought for US$161m. According to Manuele Malenotti, chief executive of Belstaff, the new venture has resulted in the creation of Belstaff Italia, a new company that will produce the namesake line.
