LATAM applies for joint ventures with American Airlines and IAG

LATAM Airlines Group has applied to form a joint venture with American Airlines and IAG, enabling the airlines to coordinate schedules on flights between North America and several countries in South America and Europe. AA and LATAM launched their first codeshare agreement in 1999.
