LeBron James becomes Nike’s first lifetime contract

American basketball star LeBron James has signed a contract with Nike that represents the first lifetime contract ever signed by the sporting goods firm. LeBron has worked with the company since 2003, when he signed a US$90m contract. The financial terms of the partnership have not yet been disclosed.
