Lower-than-expected sales at JD Sports

JD Sports has reported a 1.8% increase in like-for-like sales in the peak Christmas trading period. The company has announced that full-year profit for the year to 3 February will come in between £915m and £935m, compared to a previous forecast of £1.04bn.
