Macy’s launches ecommerce pilot on China’s Tmall

The American department chain Macy’s, in venture with Fung Retailing, now offers 2,000 SKUs – including Gianni Bernini and Anne Klein’s goods – on Alibaba’s Tmall. Specially selected for the Chinese consumers, they can only be purchased online, with the etailer expecting to make about US$50 million in 2016.
