Marriott’s earnings return to pre-pandemic levels

The parent of The Ritz-Carlton has posted a rise in net income to $377m in the quarter ending 31 March, compared with losses of $11m the prior year. Revenues also surged 80% to $4.19bn, as demand for leisure and business travel gains momentum.
