New Look Won’t Pursue IPO This Year

Chairman John Gildersleeve has said the fashion retailer is unlikely to pursue a stock market listing this year, blaming a difficult market. Private equity firms Apax and Permira, which own the chain, came close to listing the business last year but pulled out after the stock markets slumped.
