Next reports raised full-year profit following strong Christmas

The fashion and homeware retailer saw full price sales rise 10.6% in the nine weeks to 27 December and expects pre-tax profit to come in £15m higher than its forecast of £1.15bn. Next expects growth of 4.5% in total full price sales for the year.
