Ofcom Warn 4G Network Could Knock Out Freeview

The regulator has warned that 760,000 households risk losing Freeview when 4G telephony comes online, and has proposed that 4G operators pay for the filters necessary to avoid such interference. The warning will affect the value of the new spectrum, with full cost implication calculations needed ahead of the 4G auction next year.
