Online jeweller Blue Nile to go private in deal with Bain Capital and Bow Street

The transaction has been valued at US$500m and will have the two private equity firms acquire 100% of the company’s shares at US$40.75 per share. The group reported sales of US$105.1m for its third quarter, with net income of US$1.3m.
