P&G Consolidates Global Units As Steel Exits Role

Procter & Gamble is consolidating its three global business units into two, following Robert Steele’s announcement that he is stepping down as global health and wellbeing vice chairman, after 35 years with the company. Charlie Pierce, group president of the global oral care business, and Steve Bishop, group president of global feminine care, will report to Ed Shirley, head of global beauty and grooming unit. Dan Rajczak, senior vice president of global snacks and pet care, and Tom Finn, president of global health care, will report to Dimitri Panayotopoulos, vice chairman of the global household care unit.
