Pierre Cardin To Sell His Fashion House To Ensure Its Survival

The Italian-born designer, aged 88, is to sell his business in an effort to ensure its survival. Cardin has estimated his empire is worth €1bn, but some analysts have ventured more conservative estimates. Cardin set up his business in the 1950s, and the fashion house was one of the first to expand into Asia.
