Pokémon Go maker set to sell video game division to Scopely

Niantic Labs is planning to sell its video game division to Saudi Arabia-owned Scopley for $3.5bn, as it shifts its focus to geospatial technology. The deal builds on Saudi Arabia’s plan to invest nearly $38bn in industry related initiatives.
