Poundland Owner Eyes Norwegian Chain

Warburg Pincus, the private equity firm which owns the Poundland chain, is thought to be amongst the final few remaining bidders for Norwegian discount retailer Europris. The sale of Europris, which could fetch up to €500m, is expected to close in the next few weeks.
