Pret A Manger Plans First Paris Stores

The sandwich chain is preparing to open two shops in Paris this year in the company’s first move into France. In 2000 Pret A Manger opened a number of stores in the US, Hong Kong and Tokyo, but has since been forced to close many outlets. Clive Schlee, chief executive, has said that lessons have been learnt from past mistakes abroad.
