Punch Taverns Sees Sales Pick Up

The UK’s biggest pub group has reported a fall in half-year profits from the £66m recorded for the same period in 2010, to £61m for the 28 weeks to 5th March 2011. However, like-for-like sales at the group’s managed pubs rose 4.9% over the full period, and by 8.2% in the second half, meaning the group should hit its full-year targets.
