Russian hypermarket chain Lenta agrees to acquire rival Kesko for Rbs11bn (£143.5m)

The deal will see the former, which is the largest hypermarket chain in Russia, take control of 11 stores operating under the L-Ruoka umbrella. Lenta currently operates 198 stores across 72 cities in the country.
